Janine Asmar is an international fashion designer, image consultant, and leadership presence expert with over 35 years of experience.
Trained in Paris as a designer, she worked alongside Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Nina Ricci before founding her own couture house and presenting collections internationally across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States.
Her perspective deepened when she stepped into executive leadership when her father passed away, assuming a CEO-level role. In boardrooms, negotiations, and moments of visible pressure, she experienced firsthand how even highly capable women can be undermined when leadership presence and authority are not aligned.
Drawing on couture discipline, leadership experience, and the study of perception and nonverbal communication, Janine developed the Visual Authority framework—a structured method that helps women in leadership roles align who they are with how they are perceived, so authority is read clearly before a word is spoken.
